Someone mentioned in another thread that baking items will soon be going up in price due to the holidays.
My DH works at Wal-Mart and last year, as a Christmas gift, they gave employees 10% off of groceries. Do you think this will compensate for the higher prices or would it be better budget wise to go ahead and stock up now?

One of the other Christmas threads somewhere on the disboards said that baking things usually go up in price around the holidays. And, you know me, I believe everything I read on the disboards. 
So true for many of us!!
