Bahama Breeze restaurant

I am taking my mom to Disney next week. I am wondering if any of you have been to Bahama Breeze. I know I can't make reservations but I can call ahead. Does it get crowded early?

This is probably our favorite of the chain restaurants in Orlando. We always have a night there. They do get crowded but if you get there early you can get in okay. If not, sit outside, enjoy the free music and have a drink by the fire.

They have call ahead seating where you can call when you are on your way and they put you on the list if there is a wait.

We have one of these in Tampa and we love it! Try a Bahamarita, if you indulge in alcoholic beverages.

Right down the street from Lake Buena Vista, they sell carribean inspired food. I LOVE IT! We always feel like we are on vacation when we eat there.

My fiancee and I LOVE this restaurant!!! We're addicted to it!

It can get busy later in the evening, but if you arrive at opening, it should be fine. Once you are seated, it feels very intimate.

They serve Floribbean food, seafood and the like. The food is sooooo good, we savor every bite.

Our favorites are the Tiger Prawns (they use the most amazing butter sauce) and for dessert the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake with strawberrys and mangos. SOOOOO good.

I never knew they had call ahead...that is great news. wE used to go to the one near the Vistana Resort before everyone found out about it ...now both the one on I drive and the one near Vistana are mobbed.

This place is pretty good, they are mostly known for their drinks. But on the weekend this place fills up really quickly, but if you don't want to wait there are many more restaurants in the area

We all enjoyed the food. Atmosphere was great. Made for an enjoyable night.

My wife and I went here a few years ago - when we got to the podium there was quite a wait, so we put our names on the list and were handed a pager and directed to the deck area outside to wait.

We went to the bar and got a couple of nice tropical-type drinks. We found a table to sit at after 10 minutes and soon realized that we would be just as happy sitting outside, even though you don't get the full menu out there - just appetizers. It was a great night, sitting outside with some nice music, good drinks and some sweet jerk chicken.

I guess if the wait is really long we will go somewhere else but have a feeling in June, the waits will be long anywhere.

I think my mom would be okay to wait as long as she can sit down.

OMG!! I LOVE this place!!! If you don't drink, try the lemonade!!! It's hand made at the bar and is so delicious!! I love thier food. So good. I have to go now!!
