We have booked to stay here- I have read on several holiday review sites that it can be quite difficult to find.

Has anyone stayed here who could give me some detailed instructions please? We'll be driving from Sanford. Any other views on the accomodation also welcome!

thanks :flower:

Bahama Bay is situated down Florence Villa Grove Road off the 27 just south of the 192 junction. If you would like detailed directions then pm me and I will send you the directions I send out to people staying nearby

We stayed at the Bahama Bay in September/October of last year. We had a three bedroom unit where DW, DS x2, my parents & I stopped. This was just after the main hurricanes & whilst the last one hit.
We found the accomodation spacious, clean & welcoming. We were kept exceptionally well informed about potential hurricanes or storms. Its quiet, but thats the way we like it. The only 2 downsides were the pool not being heated & the half hour trip to Universal. Nearby is a Publix for all your beer (sorry food, drinks etc). Turn right out of the resort, right again on the H27, then right again & you are on the west side of the 192. Its quite easy. We enjoyed our stay.

Bahama Bay - which is a really lovely and well-positioned resort (unless you want Universal!) - is not too difficult to find at the end of Highway 192 through Kissimmee. Simply follow the 192 all the way west (8.3 miles from I-4)until it dead ends in Highway 27; take Highway 27 South for exactly 1.5 miles, then get in the left-hand lane for Florence Villa Grove Road (which comes at the end of a low walled housing complex on the left). Turn left into Florence Villa grove Road and go all the way down to the end where Bahama Bay is on the left.

We had a week at Bahama Bay in August followed by a week at AKL.
The apartment was fantastic - we booked a two bed and were upgraded to a 3 x bed on arrival. Very spacious. Massive master suite - 3 x balconies overlooking the lake and pool, tv's in every room, giant fridge/freezer (my m&m's and beers looked lost in there!).
There was quite a bit of work going on there and we had a look around at the new buildings/pool/beach that are being built - but we found it a very peaceful haven after a hectic day in the parks.
If you would like some photo's than p.m. me with your email and I will send them to you.

Thanks very much for all the replies- it certainly doesn't sound as complicated as I'd first thought!

Shropshire Saint thanks for the directions to Publix- I hoped there was one close by and you've saved us wasting time looking for it when we get there. We like it quiet too!

There is a publix nearer Lindsay - turn right out of BB then left onto the 27 and go about 1/2 mile on it isopn the right at the traffic lights at Berry town centre.
To get to Universal the best way is Sherbeth ,Osceola parkway, -I-4
There is also the wal mart nearby head nirth on the 27 as if you were going to Disney but carry straight on and do not take the 192 exit .Wal mart is about 1.5 miles up the road.
