Hi,
We just booked a towncar to pick us up and drop us off on C/I and C/O days...and the man my husband spoke to mentioned a BAGS program where certain Restorts and certain Airlines will take care of picking up your baggage if you have a LATE departure time.....this way you can still enjoy your day...and not worry about your baggage????

Am I understanding this right???
AND do you know if CBR is one of the Resorts who do this? AND if Continental Airlines does this as well???

Also if you have done it, is it a YAY or NAY. Pros and Cons?

Thanks a bunch!

They are referring to Resort Aiport Check In.

All Disney resorts participate. As does Continental Airlines.

You may want to check out Disney's Magical Express (check out the sticky at the top of the page). It is FREE transportation from MCO to Disney, FREE baggage delivery from MCO to your resort room, and FREE transporation back to MCO from your Disney resort.

Resort Airline Check-in (RAC) is available at all WDW owned-and-operated resorts, and CBR is one of them. It is only available with certain "participating" airlines, and Continental is one of them. YOU'RE IN LUCK.

RAC is separate from Disney's Magical Express. You don't have to use DME to use RAC.

Think of RAC as curbside check-in, only it's not at the curb of the airport terminal but rather is at a desk in your resort lobby. It's free, but you need to make a reservation.

The RAC desk is open from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Per TSA regulations, the earliest you can check-in is 12 hours prior to flight, and the latest is 3 hours prior to flight. That means you can use RAC as long as your flight DOESN'T depart between 1:01 a.m. and 7:59 a.m. Any other times, and you can use it.

A person who works for a company called BAGS Inc. will be at the RAC desk. You will get checked in for your flight, get your boarding passes, and check-in your luggage; the next time you'll see your luggage is on your home airport's baggage claim carousel. This is ONLY for checked luggage, not for carry-ons.

If the car service is picking you up at CBR to take you back to the airport, you can have CBR's Bell Services store your carry-ons for you while you go out and play, but make sure you give yourself enough time to get them back from Bell Services (it can take a while if they're busy) so you don't run late for your pick-up.

You did a GREAT job explaining this! I GREATLY appreciate it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
:thumbsup2
You're very welcome!

And speaking of welcome, :welcome: :disrocks:

ENJOY YOUR TRIP! I just love CBR and I hope you will, too.

I stayed there when I was younger with my family..and we LOVED it!
So we are taking our little one now, and I KNOW she is going to LOVE it even more! This is our SHORT trip before our long one!

I am hoping to get into the CSR when we return in the Fall, but we are awaiting my Mom's surgery to figure out WHEN we are going back!

Hopefully we'll know SOON!

Thanks again!
