Bagged lettuce tastes weird.

My aunt, who has Crohn's, can't eat the bagged lettuce. Something about preservatives or something?

I feel that way about bagged shredded cheese, too. It's gross.

Individually wrapped cheese slices taste weird to me. Fresh is always better.

Maybe the lettuce is absorbing the plasticy smell of the bag.

We get lettuce in a plastic container from Costco, and I swear it tastes fresher.

bagged lettuce almost has a sweet taste/smell and it gives me the trots

Can't stand the smell of bagged lettuce, or any salad greens for that matter. I feel like I'm eating a bag of chemicals.
