Hi Everyone,

I am a self proclaimed pack rat who is going to Disney in October with my DH and DD4. I am looking for the perfect bag for the parks. I have narrowed it down to the Baggallini Messenger sling bag and the Ameribag. Does anyone have both or either? I would love to know what you think. I have read great thing about the Baggallini on this site but not much on the Ameribag which also got great reviews.

I will be bringing my DD's stroller but it is a smaller stroller with not much storage. So I am looking for something that I can carry my essentials in that I want to keep with me on the rides (autograph book, camera, phone, wipes and $$).

Thank you for your opinions.

I love my Ameribag. I absolutely hate carrying a purse for long periods of time, but I have a few things I can't do without at Disney. One of the best about the "Healthy Back" bag is that it can be worn several different ways - crossbody or over the shoulder, on the front or on the back, etc. I constantly moved it around to different positions so that I never got tired of any one position.

I had the "medium" sized bag which was plenty of room for me. The "large" sized bag is practically a backpack.

I usually use a sling bag made by Mtn. Co. Op, that I love for the parks, however after reading your posts and doing research on both the Ameribag and the Baggallini I'm really taking a liking to the Ameribag, might purchase one for myself. Thanks for the thread :goodvibes

I have the baggallini and love it. Enough room for everything and its comfy.

Thank you all for your input. Since I still could not make up my mind....I ordered both. They were both on sale at ebags so I figured I can compare them in person then return the one I think won't work for us ...or of course if I love them both I can keep them.

Thank you again and have a great day.

I have used the LL Bean Leather Ameribag, the Baggallini messenger, and also the overland donner in the parks. My only complaint about the baggallini is the waterbottle pocket is a little too snug. The Ameribag I would not consider using in the parks because of the lack of water bottle pocket and not so great organization inside... the waterbottle thing is a biggie to me. I think my favorite is the Overland because of the organization and the dual waterbottle pockets. While I generally do not carry 2 at a time, it's nice having the extra spot the baggallini doesn't offer. It has a spot for everything, and then some, without being super huge. I love the Donner.

I'm a bit of a bag *****. :rotfl2:
