Baggallini Bags or something else?

I doscovered information on some boards recently regarding Baggallini bags for use at Disney. I had never heard of them. I'd appreciate feedback on whatever types of bags people use at Disney to store all types of items while touring the various parks. Thanks in advance.

I just ordered a Bagallini Messenger Bag from ebags.com for our upcoming trip in August. Even though I haven't used it yet I do like the bag. It has several zippered compartments with one compartment that is large enough to hold some bigger things. It fits close to the body and i'm hoping not cumbersome once I get it loaded up. My kids approve because it much more eye appealing that the GIANT fannie pack I used 9 years ago!! I have a bagallini messenger bag and I love it. It holds SO much stuff, yet is not big or bulky. I can fit my DD's pull-ups and a package of baby wipes, my cell phone and wallet - plus there's a hook in the front pocket that I clip my wallet to. It's a great bag!

I just ordered one from ebags.com and got it yesterday. I haven't really used it yet but I like the organization of it and think it will be great for the parks. I also got a wallet bagg from them as well, which I think will come in handy in the airport or if I just need a smaller bag.

DD & I have used our Baggallinis on 2 trips now...1st to Washington DC with her 5th grade class and then to WDW in June. We LOVE them!! You can put so much stuff in them and they are so light weight!! DD has the pink and I have the black both are the rip stop nylon. I highly recommend them!!

I found this bag on clearance at REI. I think the color was from last season or something. I really liked it because it was made to carry two full sized water bottles. Anyway, I have since seen it also discussed on this board. Here's a link with a picture and a detailed picture that shows the organization of the front section:

The two side pockets are great for holding the water bottles. I use Nalgene refillable, unbreakable bottles in a slim, tall style. I find the loops on the tops of the bottles make them really easy to get in and out of the side pockets, too.

I find the front pocket to be great for organizing and getting at things quickly. Where the "Black" notebook is shown in the picture is where I keep our family autograph book and pens. I also really appreciate the zipper on the bottom part for putting our keys, photopass, FP, etc. There is also a no zipper outside pocket for putting the park maps, etc, and other things you want to access easily.

I can easily fit ponchos, snacks, wipes, sunscreen, camera, etc in the main compartment.

The bag isn't too big. It has a nice long strap for wearing over the body. It stows well on all the rides. The material is very sturdy, so I don't feel bad leaving it on the floor of the rides as well. I did find mine for a great deal, so shop around. The link I gave doesn't have the best price, just access to the best picture.

It's much cooler in person than the picture shows. The strap is padded (Donner and Baggalini are not). You can wear the strap on either shoulder. There's a removable built-in wallet type of organizer for credit cards and such. There's a water bottle pocket on the side. It opens up easily.

I have the OE Donner bag, and I used it for the first time on a short weekend vacation. Although I love the compartments and how much it carries, it seems to get heavy and difficult to carry quickly. It just feels like a heavy purse when worn over the shoulder. When worn across the body, thick strap became uncomfortable. I definitely think that part of my problem is the toddler to which I have to constantly attend. Every time I bent over to help her in/out of the stroller or on/off the potty, the bag swung down and in the way. I used the OE Placer at WDW in January and loved it. When I moved it to the back of my hip to bend over, the smaller bag stayed there. I just didn't like the weight of the Donner and how I had to carry and shift the weight of the bag. (We used the stroller at WDW to carry a diaper bag, so I didn't have to carry much.)

I prefer to keep my valuable close/in front of my body, which is why I like the style of the bags (both the Placer and Donner). For storage and organization, the Donner is great (love those water bottle/umbrella holders).

If you can find the bag or find a place with free shipping/free return shipping (bagsbuy? ebags?), that would help.

I have a toddler and since our last trip I have been carrying this bag every day. It holds a ton of stuff. I love the little pocket on top for small items, the phone pocket on the shoulder (holds a regular phone as well as a RAZR size) and has a little side pocket for a water bottle, when you aren't using it you don't know it is there. For my toddler I carry wipes, a few diapers, a change of clothes, snacks, plus my camera and all kinds of other odds and ends into the parks - plenty of room, but not too big. I really love a sling for WDW since I can swing it around front for rides and never actually have to take it off.
