Baggalini - WHY?

I like Baggalini's, but I have found that I can't carry a back pack in the park. It's just too hot. I tend to go for messenger type bags...I have an overland donner bag that I LOVE and it doesn't make me hot! I also put trading pins all over the straps...very cool when you are at Disney! ;) :thumbsup2

I ordered one for me and one for my mom for our trip in Nov. They came today and I was surprised, that look kind of small???

I just got a Baggallini for our upcoming trip (the cute lime green messenger). So far, I like that I can fit everything I need in the small pockets in the front (first aid kit, sunscreen, ponchos, etc.) and then also bring my camera and small purse and some Imagineering Field Guides in the main pocket.

I love that everything zips up...I feel much more comfortable just tossing it into the net on a ride, whereas on my last trip I had a bag without zippers and I was constantly worried about losing something.

That said, I'm quite short and tiny (but alas, 'ample busted') and so far, it has been hard to adjust it to be small enough. I'm hoping that wearing it won't put any more strain on my back. So far, it seems like it will be fine, but I haven't worn it about very much.

I'll have to come back and post a comprehensive review from Disney!

I ordered one and sent it back. I didn't like the way it hung on me and didn't like the bulkt strap across my chest. I ordered the Overland Donner bag and liked it much better.

Baggalini was a great quality bag, but strap just did not work for me across my chest. I did the same as this prior posted and opted for the Overland Donner bag. http://www.rei.com/online/store/Pro...=BLACK/DAISY&img=/media/627082.jpg&view=large I am waiting for that to arrive, I hope that works better for me. I am excited about it because it got great reviews on the DIS too.:cool1:

So all of u who wanna sell the baggalini please let me know when u put them on ebay!!

I found that the strap was very bothersome. I found & ordered the High Sierra Deuce bag off of amazon. It has 4 different zippered compartments plus a cell phone holder. This looks to me like it can be carried like I would carry a purse. The bagallini was too bulky for that.

I got mine for 29.00. I found them as high as 54.00 :scared:

I don't know how to add links :crazy2: but they also have it on ebags if anyone wants to check it out there.

Here is a link to a great tour bag. It is the same as the fabulous Columbia Tour Pouch that so many DIS people sold out last fall!!

Pbnjrockette, just wanted to say thanks for this recommendation!! I ordered the National Geo bag on Sunday from eBags, just received it today and it is exactly what I was looking for!! There were 2, I ordered the larger of the 2. Perfect bag for the parks, for me. :thumbsup2

My DGF & I just got our new messenger baggallinis today, and they look perfect for what we need! :thumbsup2 Baggallini will hold my cards/ money, digital camera, poncho, sunglasses, ball cap, lip stuff, water bottle, etc. I find backpacks to be too heavy (the bigger the bag - the more we seem to fill 'em) and hot at WDW. And there's no way I'm wearing a fanny pack! :sad2: I guess we'll put baggallini to the test in May!

Glad it worked out for you! The Columbia bag was a fantastic buy last fall and I think the DIS folks bought them all up! I know I love mine! The Natl Geo bag is the same.
