Baggage Tipping

Hello. Quick question about tipping. We are taking Sunshine Express. For bags, do we tip when dropping off bags on the bus, picking them up off the bus or both? Also bags will be kept at the hotel until room is ready. Same question: tip when dropping off the bags or picking up or both?

Just wondering what protocol is.

I always tip bell services once my bags are brought to my room. Whether I'm arriving with my bags or they are stored and brought at a later time.

Bus- tip after they get your bag out.

Bell Services- I tip on both ends, my parents only tip on receiving. To each their own.

For a bus (Mears, Sunshine Flyer), like the previous person said, when you get off, since it is the same person providing the service. At bell services, if I am leaving my luggage because my room isn't ready, I tip the person taking the luggage and storing it and then tip the person who delivers it to the room.

I stopped tipping until final delivery when, at one resort, someone unloaded my car out front, someone wheeled the cart to the check in desk, and then someone wheeled the cart to our room. 3 people handled our luggage. I think I tipped all 3, but never again. We bring rolling luggage now.
