baggage check at debarkation

Which airlines allow baggage check at debarkation? I'm flying American and using the Disney transfer. Also what's the earliest I can be at the airport using the disney bus? Thanks.

American is at the port and since you have purchased transfers you will be able to check your bags at the port.

buses fill up and leave so as soon as you are off the ship and check your luggage the bus will be off to the airport when full. I would say the earliest you could be at the airport is between 9:45 and 10:00. They let people off the ship normall at about 8:00-8:30 or so and it takes about 45-50 minutes to get to the airport.

Can I ask a side bar to this question? Is there a fool-proof (safe) way to ensure your previously submitted baggage from the night before doesn't "walk" away before you see it again the next am? We plan on being one of the last parties off the ship and I would hate to disembark to, "sorry.....those bags were already picked up."

Your bags will be in a secure area before you pick them up. So, yes, I guess another cruise passenger could take your bag. But they would have to take it through customs and immigration to get it out.

We were on the Wonder last April, and they let everyone off the ship starting at 7:30 AM. We immediately found a porter in the terminal, who literally whisked us to our luggage, and thru customs, and out to the Delta kiosk, where we gave them our luggage and were given our boarding passes. We got on the DCL bus, which filled very quickly, and we were at MCO by 8:40 AM! It was just amazing! DH lost sleep the night before, worried that we would miss our 11:50 AM flight, and he was so relieved.

I wheeled a bag into the parking lot before I realized that it was not ours!.. Looked identical and luckily I looked for something that was in the bag... then realized I had the wrong one.

People can get off the ship as soon as it is cleared by customs....so I should have said could be as early as 7:30...
