Baggage and transfer question

[RDS912]

We have a 9pm flight on Song. My question is if I rent a car at the port to go elsewhere for the day, can I check in at the port with delta and send my bags to MCO so I dont have to carry them arround all day. Also if we are taking a towncar from AKL to port can we send our bags on the baggage truck so we dont have to mess with them at the port?
