Thanks for all the ideas. My dh will most likely carry his backpack with the kids jackets in it, so I just have to worry about myself. I do not plan on bringing that much into the parks, just a few essentials - phone, key, a little cash, camera, bandaids, etc.., nothing large at all. So, hopfully, I can find a small lightweight jacket to bring that will fit in it. The locker idea is great too!! I did not even think of that!
Looking forward to it... I do not think that the trip can get here fast enough! I haven't been to Disney in about 20 years and it is the first trip for my twin 5y.o. boys!!
THANKS!!
OMGosh! Your going to have a great time then!! I'm so excited for you and your family to be able to go on this trip!!!

The backpack thing might actually be a good idea after all since you have the boys....When I travel I always take my big backpack with me full of the things I need for when I get to my destination, my baggallini is in it, with my books, notebook with plans/ressies, small blanket for plane, small pillow for my lower back for plane, snacks, water bottle- once I pass the inspectors.. what have you's. (This is a backpack that's big enough to carry laptop and books for school)
When I'm at my hotel/home of my destination I usually only take what I need with me sans the big back pack UNLESS I'm going to WDW!!!

Then if I think I'm going to need a change of clothes, or the kids want to take other items they think they will need later i.e. glow in the dark paraphernalia to be used later that night, it goes from cool to hot or visa versa then I have all that I need without feeling I have to go all the way back to the resort/hotel to get what I need. I have it all with us in the park in a locker that we can get to a lot easier than leaving. I also have had to use the locker at more than one park and they do give you back a deposit and the next park does give you a break on the price of your next locker since you already rented one at another park, just be sure to say something to the first cashier at your first rental locker, I think they give you a receipt or something, can't remember it's been a while.
I was on a trip last summer and it had gone from hot and sunny to rainy and cool-OK, cooler, so I needed to get rid of my visor, and sunglasses and get a dry change of clothes at one point, I was sure glad I had my backpack with me.
This was one of the best trips into the park because of it, I didn't feel I had to be stuck with something all day that I didn't need, and get to the things I did need!

Be blessed on your trip, and have a great time!!! I know you will!
