Man, we've had this trip planned for a long time, hoping to get a break from the cold & wet of the pacific Northwest. What is the forecast for So Cal?
Wet and cool (cold for CA).

We were planning some time at Santa Monica and Venice beaches, San Juan Capistrano, and of course time at DL.

Any ideas as to how to make the best of 5 straight days of cold & wet? Wonder if the crowds will still be monstrous for the holiday weekend even with all the rain - everything is sold out...

We'll buck up & make the best of it, but any ideas for So Cal rainy day activities would be much appreciated.

We will be there too. If it rains, it won't stop us from enjoying our vacation.

The forecast keeps changing each day, so we will be packing rain gear and enjoying our trip rain or shine. :umbrella: The largest % now is 30% during our stay...down from, I think, 80%, then 60%, and now 30%. Also, the removal of a sunnier day, though.

One up-side to the rain is that, although it won't deter most vacationers, it might make a dent in the locals showing up. We S. Californians tend to stay inside when it's raining! Although this is the wettest year that we have had for quite a while so people might just be fed up and come out anyway
