My wife and I have just decided to stay one extra night for our upcoming trip to WDW in May. We're staying off-proerty at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, but for the extra night wanted to get a single room at Art of Animation or one of the All-Stars just for the night for a change. I called the reservations number this morning and spoke with a CM who was so rude to me I couldn't beleive I was actually on the phone with a representitive of Disney! 
She first was super pushy about trying to sell me park tickets, which I already have, and explained to her that we just wanted a room for 1 single night, not a package. Next she barraded me about why I wanted to look at this resort, and not other more expensive options basically.
Is WDW trying to crank up the ticket bookings for this spring or something? Because based on the park attendance levels, I really don't think ticket sales are an issue?!?
This could be a one-off expirence that was just with this CM. Who knows maybe she was having a bad morning, or maybe she just hates her job. But regardless, I shouldn't have felt so bad about the fact that our family could only stay on-property for 1 night of our trip, as I did. Has anyone else had a bad expirences lately on the phone w/ travel CM's?
