bad news and good news

ok, this really sucks - im missing my graduation!!!!!!! we're flying to the states that night and i have to be in the airport right when the ceremony starts! and the worst part is im one of the ppl orginizing it (2 of my friends and i are in charge of writing all the skits and putting them on)........i hope theyll come out as funny on stage as they are on paper.......i was really lookin forward to acting in our skits and makin fun of the teachers (after all we've been through.....lol....6 years of hell lol....jk).
well, the upside is we'll be in WDW the next day (that is if we survive the flights....)

and now to make this an even more random post........i entered one of my songs into a radio contest here! im really excited!

but enogh about me.....what about you? ( i dont know what i mean by that....its just somethin you say when youve been ramblin on about yourself )

That sucks that you have to miss graduation, but at least you'll be in WDW!

I have good and bad news too. The good news is that MTV might be at our prom (we're one of 3 schools in a competition). They'll come to our prom and they'll also have some of it on tv. But that bad news is that I'm not going to prom, so I'll have nothing to do with it.

If I were you Dana, I'd blag my way into the prom anyway I could, even offer to clean up or something, just try and get your face on TV

I'm not going to prom because I knew I would never get a date, and of course I never did, I'm just not popular enough. And in my school, you're not allowed to go without a date.

I just found out what the competition is about. Some group called B2K (which I have never heard of) is going to escort one girl to the prom in a private limo, and MTV is gonna be at the prom. Each of the 3 schools in the competition had to have girls sign up and each was interviewed to find out the biggest B2K fan in each school. The girl from each school (chosen on Friday) are going to appear on TRL I think on Wednesday and there is going to be some kind of contest (I think trivia questions about B2K). Whoever wins is going to have MTV at their prom and have B2K escort them.

The girl chosen from our school is very hyper and a lot of people think we're not going to win because she's a little too hyper and that might make her mess up.

omg! that sux! i cant believe they dont let ppl come without dates!!! thats so stupid! its your senior prom, for gods sake, not a popularity-sex-apeal contest!
that said, do you have a guy friend who could escort you to the prom? just to hang out as friends, that way both of you could get in......
i go to an only girls school, so we dont have a prom......i wouldnt particularly enjoy slow dancin with another girl (just because we're in an only girls school doesnt mean we're gay....lol , although we do have our suspicions about the girls in the other all girl school )
