Morning all.

So Ive been trying to price up for our honeymoon in May and we had decided to stay in the HNY. I was delighted to see the prices up on the UK website and assumed the Irish one would follow suit shortly afterwards...

So after waiting a bit and keeping an eye on disneylandparis.ie I saw no further prices, nothing past Nov 7th 2011.

Then during last weekend I received an email from an Irish TA with offers and prices up to June 2012. Tried to price up on their website but no joy so I rang them on Monday and got quotes (Breakaway.ie will have their prices loaded online in a few weeks).

So after using the UK pricings and doing a conversion (1.18) and toying around with the 15% offer and full price I then compared these quotes with the ones from Breakaway with a disparity of €50 in some cases. :confused3

I got fed up of second guessing and confusion so I rang DLP and they will not be releasing further travel dates until June 23rd. The dates released will be November 8th to March 28th. So Im still in darkness for my dates in May. :confused3

So how can an Irish TA give me prices. I am baffled. :confused3

Further dates to be released around September the CM on the phone reckoned.

Think I shall be booking thru the UK site as this is getting pretty ridiculous.

I also dont think the conversion rate of 1.18 is correct as Breakaway havent in the past charged any extra then €10 for booking with them.

Also for anyone pricing suites the pricings are only up until March on their system.

Just thought I would say that 1.18 is the right exchange rate. If you look in the terms and conditions in the back of the uk brochure it tells you there the exchange rate used for different dates:goodvibes

Thanks Jo. I think the TA might just be doing their own thing!
The current rate is about 1.14 on xe.com so its better to book on the UK site right now. I think I'll be playing the waiting game.
Just feeling a bit messed about by DLP at the minute. No ones getting their stories straight! :headache:
