Does Disney still operate its 'Keys to the Kingdom' behind-the-scenes MK tour? - I can't seem to find much information about it and Keith Prowse tell me that they don't sell any tickets for it.

Any idea who I can contact please?
Steve.

Sorry, forgot to include the telephone number (didn't see it on the linked page), it's 407-WDW-TOUR (939-8687).

Also, I stmubled across a review by Deb Willis - it can be viewed here

It's rather old (1995), but to read in 8 years on is good fun. It mentions the finger print scanners at the gates being tested...!

Steve

We did this tour last year :D It was very good - our guide was brilliant I think you have to book directly with Disney.

Thanks for the advice!
I just phoned Disney and booked a tour for Oct 1st. The tickets were $58 dollars each (on top of the admission fee) and we have to meet by the tour-garden in MK at 9:15 with our passports as ID.

When you arrive Steve you will be able to pick what you would like for lunch and be given a really cool 'guest' pass to wear :) At that time they will give you bottled water for free - take it - it get's really hot walking around. You will be given a keys to the Kingdom Pin too !! You will love it.

After visiting WDW on many occasions over the years, it seems the next logical step to find out more about how it all ticks. - Especially since we're not taking any kids with us. We'll also probably spend a lot of time touring around the State. - I LOVE driving around in Florida! ...We did over 3000 miles last time!

Does the Keys to the Kingdom tour include the utilidors? That is the hidden side of MK I would like to see... Jeez, how sad am I? - travel thousands of miles to Disney to look at an underpass?!

I think you'll love this tour Steve :) ! BTW, if the water isn't offered, do ask for it - the fridge is hidden under their table.

Did the CM also mention thay no cameras or large bags are allowed? Anyone who brought them had to pass them over for secure storage until after the tour.

Hi Shirley,
No mention was made of cameras or VCRs during booking, but I sort of took it for granted anyway.
I'm getting the hang of this pre-booking lark! - I've also phoned Disney to get a PS breakfast in Bomas at the AK Lodge (Using the free vouchers we received with the 10-Day pass). I also plan to sort out our wedding anniversary dinner in the same way.
Previously, we usually turned up on a particular day and then booked a meal in a specific place for the following week. - It now seems a lot more convenient to book in advance from home and then dine wherever we want from day one!
Steve.

When you phone and reserve this do you pay a deposit or do they require the full amount at the time of booking?

Bekki

Hi Bekki,
I had to pay the full $116 (2* $58) at the time of booking.
Steve.
