This is the only tour where you get to go backstage at MGM studios. Two Questions. 1. what do you get to see at MGM? 2. At the other parks, is there anything different that you get to see, that you otherwise would not if taking the individual tours(which I have already)?

When I took the tour a few years ago we started in Epcot visiting an attraction in World Showcase for a VERY unique behind the scenes experience. Then it was on to Body Wars to see the way that ride operates. I am sure that that part of the tour has changed now that Body Wars only operates a very small part of the year if at all. From there it was on to the Cast Operations building for a tour of Epcot Costume distribution. Then it was on to MGM. We got to see the costume design department which is where they custom design all the specialty costumes for the shows and then it was on to Lunch at Mama Melrose. It seems to me that we made one more stop in MGM after lunch, but I just can't seem to recall it now.

From there we headed over to MK. We toured the Utilidors, the machine and wood shops where they manufacture many of the rides and attractions, the parade barn to see some of the floats, the rehearsal studios, the Christmas building where they house all of the decorations, and then it was time to see the aftternoon parade from a special location.

This is a fascinating tour and I have taken several of the individual theme park tours myself. Although you will find a bit of carryover especially in the MK there is enough different information to make this tour worthwile. I loved it so much the first time I did it again several years later.

Hmmm, interesting. I was wondering myself how much of the KTTK tour would be repeated with Backstage Magic.
And, since there is currently no tour of just MGM, I was hoping that it would be a good look behind the scenes there.
When I took UnDISCOVERed Futureworld, we visited the Epcot costume area also. That was a very good tour.
