Please forgive my ignorance, but I haven't been to Disney World in 30 years!

We will be taking two small children on rides with us and I want to carry a backpack and a fanny pack. Can these be taken on the rides with us?

Thanks
Kim

I carry my back with me, it is not a real big one, but I usually put it at my feet or hold onto the straps when I ride. I have never had a problem.

We always have a backpack with us and it has gone on all the rides with us. No problems on any of the rides.

BTW - if you are planning on going to AK and doing Kali River Rapids, put a trashbag in the backpack and put the backpack in the trash bag during the ride to keep it dry. Works like a charm!!

How small are the children? I've had great luck reducing my load by having my kids carry their own stuff. You can buy a small slingpack at Wal-mart. It holds more than a fanny pack, but not so much that you'll be walking bent backward. The kids have room for their autograph book, camera, and any small purchases that they make.

The kids are 15 months and 4 years old. We can leave some stuff with the stroller, but not everything. I am hoping that my DS 4 years old can carry a fanny pack. We are shopping for one for him this weekend that he can try out.
