Backpacks for kids... or adults?

For our second trip, I was determined to do the "everybody has their own backpack w/ their own snacks/drinks" plan. Well, my dh and ds refused to wear theirs at all, and I ended up carrying my dd's.

I vote for one big backpack for all, too!
