We are going to rent our house out. We want to do a background check and there are several sites that want anywhere from 29.00 to 59.00
I don't want to use the wrong service. Have you used one and which one do you recommend?

More important than the price is what, exactly, do each of those services check for?

Do they look at criminal records? In your state? In all states?

Do they look at credit reports?

What are you looking for with the background check? A criminal one can be done at your local police department for a fee.
