I had a great flight back from Paris yesterday - long but good. Woke up at 3 am - - oh the joys of jetlag! Happily it was 26 degrees here in Texas when I landed - I was immediately peeling off layers!

DLRP in Novermber! Wow what an experience!

:love:Loved-
the Christmas decorations - especially Main Street USA:santa:
the soapy snow
Christmas music - carols
Fantillusion parade:wizard:
Mickey's Winter Wonderland
Bon fire fireworks
tenacity of the fans willing to brave rain and cold for a little magic - I have great respect for the French and all brazen park goers after seeing so many locals out on Armistice day which I might add was a terrible weather day - not just rainy but STORMY:eek:
Magic Circus room - breakfast was hit or miss - but more hit than miss
TGV - train and buying tickets via tgv-europe:thumbsup2
Agrabah buffet - my new favorite!
Hilton CDG Terminal 3 -VERY NICE!

:headache:Did not enjoy-
WEATHER - enough said - I will say the Disneyland rain poncho is well worth the 9 euros I paid for it and then some - I kept thinking I must be crazy!

I was really wishing for more shelter

Here is a little teaser - oh the weather!

We are just on our way home too after 6 wonderful (if wet) days at DLP!
We thought the same as you on Thursday - we weren't too bothered about the storm, having already been able to do most things, but we felt sorry for the French visitors who were just there for one day with such horrific weather. We spent the morning/early afternoon in the studios, everyone kept running for cover in studio 1 and at the shows every time another deluge of rain came along. We got caught in some terrible hailstones on the way out of the park but managed to squeeze into one of the pagodas in front of DLH.
Disney must have a made a killing selling those ponchos, it looked like the park was haunted with lots of white ghosts floating about :rotfl:

Glad you had a good trip!!:santa:

I took refuge at the Studios on Thursday the weather was so bad - I even went to Playhouse Disney in French for a little shelter -:rotfl:.

It was definitely a starring week for the Disneyland Paris Rain Poncho!

Welcome back!! :goodvibes

Such a shame about the weather you all had  looking forward to the trip report! :thumbsup2
