Back yesterday

[ILOVEDLP]

Hi all got back yesterday afternoon.
we had fun but tbh the weather really did spoil must of the week for us
My nose is bleedying still and as Nathan said to me last week I just don't feel Wery well.so is will be a short highs and lows.
Highs
Eurostar (from london) bags great for the boys easy to use check in great.
Disney Express
Hotel New York ballons on the bed and 2 Donald ducks for them to true magic
Riding all the rides in toy story playland they are fab.
The twins meeting all the favs.



Lows
The weather I don't ever think I have been so cold and am from the north east !
still think the need to fix all the walk ways in the park it starting to look really tatty.
cafe mickey really missed the dancing and slow service staffing cuts I no but its not the cheapest place to eat.
Room at the New York in the farthest corner a really long walk from the reception probly wound'nt of been botherd normally but when its that cold you just want to be in your room.
Euro star coming back to london a hour late because of weather no body queuing just pushing and no room for bags buggy etc on the train.
And worst of all no 2012 frigdes magnets till march.

Such a shame the cold spoilt it a bit for you, hope you are feeling better and remembering some of the magic fondly soon x
I'm fromthe North East too but I'm a big softie that is praying (optomistic too) that it thaws out by the time we go (19th) as I can't bear the cold. We've been and bought ski suits for the kids and they've got thermals but can you give any helpful tips to keep warm - anything you wish you had taken but didn't?
Hindsight is usually a wonderful thing so I'm hoping to cash in on yours!

Went back to work today
Everyone kept asking what wrong with your nose so guess I don't look my best.
Kellie am a soft goerdie to I've always had a going out coat, and defo no t-shirts down the big market in December for me.
The boys had base layres snow boots ski socks helly hansen coats (extra padded ones) helly hansen ski gloves as well as hats scaves and fleece blankets when in the buggy. I wish I had taken more blankets and wish I went and bought ski suits to. We have been 9 times now and have been when its been cold before but nothing like it was last week.My boys hated hot drinks before last week but now love hot choc its 2.50 euro for a hot choc at Disney so you could take a flask and a tub of cadburys.
Trying to load some pics up to show you all we still had a great time but its not happening. I'll keep trying.
All in all I still love Disneyland paris but think the next time we go it will have to be in the summer.
