Hi everyone,

I finally have a new trip in the pipeline, we weren't going to go this year but DH has finally given in and I've had my own way once again lol!

This time we're looking at October half term, either NPB or HNY - does anyone have any update on the NPB renovation? I've been out of the loop as such for a good few months now! It'll be probably for 4 nights/5 days, we did 5 nights/6 days last March which was slightly too long for us but 3 nights/4 days never seems long enough. Disney currently have the 30% off and free half board which works out quite reasonable for the 4 of us. We'll be driving and crossing the Channel by Eurotunnel, we're also thinking of adding a few days on at a Eurocamp or Center Parcs.

This trip will be my early birthday present - i've got a big birthday coming up in March 2016 but i've always wanted to see the Halloween decorations at DLP so its either go early or wait until October 2016 which is a lifetime away!

So any update on all the DLP gossip would be great to get me up to date!! :) :)

so wonderful to plan another trip to DLP!

Only thing I'd say is be prepared for his busy it is during October half term, I honestly have never experienced dlp crowds like it. It's definitely a time for soaking up the atmosphere and I loved the Halloween Soiree and would return just for the evening, but mega queues during the days, we did hardly any rides.

The busy crowds are bothering me a bit - we are used to visiting in March!! At the moment we're looking at going Thursday (just before half term) to Monday, and then center parcs or eurocamp for a rest. I'm hoping the Thursday and Friday would still be ok'ish and then the Saturday and Sunday would be more relaxing, character hunting and enjoying nice meals. If we stay at HNY we'll make use of EMH and go back to HNY for a later breakfast.

That doesn't sound so bad, you'll be there before uk half term starts and the weekend you know will be busy so can plan accordingly and you'll have later opening hours :)

Nice one, not so long to wait and you'll have the spring festival which looked beautiful last year :daisy:
