CROWDED!!

Just flew back today from a long weekend for the Danskin Triathlon. Flew in Thursday night, staying at WL. No bunk bed rooms available, no (paying) concierge rooms available.

Went to AK Friday and it was crowded. Went to MK Saturday and it was VERY Crowded. We decided to skip the parade and at 2:00 there was a 40 min wait for Goofy's Barnstormer, and then at 3:00 there was a 60 min wait for peter pan (even fast pass was 3 hours out for this one!). COP was open, but kept moving at the wrong time. Still had a good day, but didn't get to see too much.

Sunday after the triathlon we did MGM and hit Epcot for the evening. MGM was the most crowded I have ever seen it. We pooped out at the end of the night and didn't stay for the EMH at Epcot.

I thought May was supposed to be a slower month?

MK was crowded on friday, some 70 minute waits for Peter Pan and Pooh ride. Used fast pass and did fine, got there early so no problem. Lots of teenage groups in matching tee shirts and other school groups, end of year trips I imagine. Epcot was less crowded on saturday but we did fast pass on Mission to Space, Test Track and Maelstrom for additional rides.

I try to never go to MK on Saturdays anymore. Waste too much time in line. If we do, we go for a few hours early morning and then head out.

The last few Friday's before school ends, students from different schools here in Fl go to Disney & Universal for the last big field trip of the year... This past Friday, the school I work in had students going to both Universal & Disney. Most of what you see in the month of May is our local students..... and trust me...it is less crowded than going in the end of June thru August!!!!
