Back to the Future Ride??

Hello All,

We visited for the first time Feb 09, and obviously BTTF ride had been changed to the Simpsons,
I am a massive fan of back to the future, and just wanted to know what the ride was like? Was it a simulator etc? Has anybody got any pictures?
I was gutted that i never got to ride it

It would be nice to hear about it though,

I stopped riding BTTF for the same reason I won't ride The Simpsons...I'm always stuck in the back seat and my head bangs around. It's the same ride vehicle but themed differently. I was excited to ride it until I got in there and saw it was the same vehicle with the same problems.

I agree, I am 6'5 and we was at the back,
I didnt enjoy the ride as much as i thought i would, if we ever go again (And i do HOPE SO!!!!) i will try and sit in the front,
I now know why they rushed to the front seats!!!

BTTF was billed as "The greatest ride of all time." And it was/is.

On the recently re-relased BTTF DVDs, there is a section dedicated to the ride.

Back in 1991-92 BTTF was the greatest ride of all time,it was the most technologically advanced ride anywhere.I remember my first trip to Halloween Horror Nights in 1992 waiting almost 2 hours to ride this ride and thinking how it was so worth it,especially since I'm a huge BTTF fan.Over the years it wasn't a must do anymore but I still rode every once in a while and enjoyed it.

I never got to ride the BTTF ride but I did meet Doc by the car and the train exhibit. I did ride the Simpsons in May and I wasn't all that impressed. I may ride it again to give it another chance.

It was spectacular. A lot of negative feedback was from a) people with motion sickness who complain about all sumulation rides (not quite sure why they go on them then ) and b) people who were riding it 15+ years after it was created so things like Spiderman overshadowed it in the technology department.

Please take a few minutes to help with out petition to pass to Universal for a new 2015 ride, it would be much appreciated.
