A little bit about us first...

Me - Ema (34), kind of Disney mad :cutie:
DH - Jeremy (36) who doesn't remember what Disneyland in Tokyo looked  like
DD1 - Mia (almost 6, well 6 in July) who loves everything Disney but is scared of the villains
DD2 - Anya (19months) who is in love with Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse

Day 5 - Last day!!!

Woke up a little late thanks to Anya who didn't sleep all night. Only managed to get her to sleep around 5am with some help from Calpol. She was complaining that her teeth hurt but then she was ok for the rest of the day... Ah well...

Went to have breakfast which was great and then went to have a photo taken with Mickey and Goofy.

Waiting for the photo

Both girls got a balloon each, Mia had a Minnie one and Anya had Winnie the Pooh one so we told them it'd be too much of a hassle to take them back to London and we asked them to let the balloons go when we go to get the bus for the last time. We checked out and said goodbye to the lovely people in the hotel and let the Minnie and Pooh fly up in the air...

It was already very crowded in the park and it was 10.30am. Went on Small World (it had the shortest queue) and then decided to just walk around the park and visit Adventureland, Frontierland and just wander around. And since we had lunch booked for 12.30 at Cafe Mickey, that was the only thing we could do. But it was the best thing!!!

Said Hello to Baloo

Then it was lunch time!!! YAY!!!:cheer2:

We have a tradition to always have lunch in Cafe Mickey on our last day so I booked it a while in advance. We just love the atmosphere and all the interraction with the characters and not having to queue for a little hug. We saw...

Had a lovely lunch, went to the shops to look around and get a few little things, mainly t-shirts for the girls, some chocolates and the famous Mickey Mouse pasta (I always buy the pasta, it's just cool). We then walked into the park for one last time (during this visit, of course) to watch the parade. We again stood by Bella Notte and really enjoyed the dance of the princesses and princes. It definitely is the best place to watch the parade form - thanks a lot for the tip everyone!!!!! Again loved the parade but I think I may have mentioned this before :rotfl2:

Ah yes... Both me and Mia had our faces painted while Daddy went on the TOT. He said it was good. And as for me... I'm not that easily convinced to go on any of those rides :scared:

<a href="http://s252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/?action=view&current=DSC05062.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/DSC05062.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

It was a lovely visit, we enjoyed it thoroughly. Had a little tear in my eyes when we said goodbye to the park and Mickey and everyone else but promised to be back very soon...

Another lovely report. Sorry to hear Anya's teeth were bothering her. Our DD2(16 mths) has cut 3 back teeth since Easter & is in bad form again this last few days, so we're hoping it's the 4th one coming through so we can get a break from the teething for our holiday. I'll be taking the Calpol with me too!

I really enjoyed your reports & photos, especially as we have daughters of similar ages and you have got me excited thinking about my impending trip.

Thanks again & hope you get to go back very soon.

Really enjoyed reading your report Ema. We brought our balloons back with us. We made a little hole at the bottom, let all the air out, packed it nice & flat in the suitcase and they're now up on the walls in the bedroom. We did that last time too.

Great report, and nice to hear that you could still have a fun time even though the park was really busy. I sympathise on the teething toddler too!

Lovely report, with fab pics. I really enjoyed reading it, thanks for sharing:thumbsup2

What a fab report, i loved reading it and seeing all the photos.

When you had lunch at Cafe Mickey did the characters dance to freedom?

They didn't dance to freedom. There was a birthday party there, a little boy sitting next to us turned 5 so the characters sang to him... It was very sweet...

For us Cafe Mickey is the highlight of every trip!

I've really enjoyed reading about your holiday. :goodvibes

Lovely photos again, especially the one of Anya kissing Mickey and the one of Mia with her face painted. I forgot to say on the other thread how pretty and sparkly it looked.

Thank you so much for your replies:blush: ...

And thanks a lot for all your help!!! :rainbow:

I'm still amazingly jealous you saw Mickey in his Chef hat!!!
