A little bit about us first...

Me - Ema (34), kind of Disney mad :cutie:
DH - Jeremy (36) who doesn't remember what Disneyland in Tokyo looked like
DD1 - Mia (almost 6, well 6 in July) who loves everything Disney but is scared of the villains
DD2 - Anya (19months) who is in love with Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse

Day 3!

Woke up early to go and have breakfast in the park. Got ready quickly and decided to use some of the Extra Magic Hours and go to the park early. It was bright sunshine which got us in the right mood:love: . On the way to get the bus we bumped into Tigger who was happy to pose for the camera.

Got the bus straight away and we were in the park at 8.30. Since our breakfast wasn't till 9.15 we walked along Main St. and headed towards the cups and the carousel. Almost no waiting time there but Dumbo was already packed so we told Mia we'd go on Dumbo after breakfast.

Here's a photo of Main St. at 8.30am

and the rides...

Had breakfast a bit earlier, it was great as usual and headed for Dumbo. It was 9.30am at the time and we ended up waiting for 45mins to have a go but had to do it because we promised Mia. Then we went on the storytelling boats (forgot the name, sorry) and Casey Jnr where the queue was only 5mins. It was great!!! Headed towards Small World where we bumoed into Belle and the Beast who told us they'd give autographs in Belle's village so me and Mia ran there to be greeted by Gaston. Him and the Beast were fighting for Belle which we all thought was very funny. In the end Gaston gave up:flower3:

Then we saw Mr Smee so Mia got another autograph. By then her little book was half full and I thought we'd have to buy another one just for autographs:goodvibes

Stopped for a quick lunch but this time it was a Croque-monsieur who we all love!!! We didn't have to convince Anya to try it - that baby eats more than me:rotfl2:

<a href="http://s252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/?action=view&current=DSC04667.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/DSC04667.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Then we went to the Studios to see if we could see Mickey Mouse or anyone else. Mickey was at the Toon Studio together with Mrs Incredible.

Had another go on the Magic carpets and went for dinner at Anette's. The food was great, service was superb and we all enjoyed being there. By 7pm we were soooo tired but I couldn't help but think it was a perfect day to take Mia and Anya to see the Candleabration. Got a good place, right in front if the castle and the stage so everyone was happy. I was recording it and couldn't take any photos but it was as good as what I remembered from last year's trip. The only thing was that it was still bright so Mia couldn't see the candles on the castle. But she still enjoyed it and both her and Anya danced all the way through.

The castle looked beautiful...

<a href="http://s252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/?action=view&current=DSC04768.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/DSC04768.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

On thee way out of the park Mickey said goodbye to all of us which was just lovely:love:

<a href="http://s252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/?action=view&current=DSC04777.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh13/cutebutwrong/Disneyland%20Paris%20April%202008/DSC04777.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

I think I'm reading your trip reports backwards! Still very enjoyable and you've got some fabulous pictures. We've never seen Gaston or the Beast out and about so fingers crossed for July.

They were 16.90 euros and were almost all gone by the end of our visit. I remember talking to someone on the train, she wanted to buy a few for her daughter's friends but only managed to find 2.

Hopefully you'll find one when you go. Minnie in HSM outfit is gorgeous:lovestruc I was very upset when we couldn't find her...

Shame about your DD's Minnie :sad1: but what a fabulous day you had. I only thought the Beast was about at Christmas ~ hope we see him in August!

I like your DD's Eurostar bag. When we went they were giving clear plastic bags like you'd use for wet swimming cossies  ~ these look much nicer and much more useful. :thumbsup2

Thanks for your report ema74. I'm heading over there in over two weeks with girls aged pretty closed to yours (4 1/2 and 21 months).
The oldest one has been to WDW 4 times already, but doesn't remember much (last time was last august).
She is really excited this time, specially about meeting the pricesses and going into the tea cups.
This will be our first time to Paris or DLR for that matter. We are going for five days and planned to go one of the days to visit the main sights in Paris.
I hope that 2 full days at the parks, plus the afternoon and morning of the arrival/departure days will be enough for the parks, taking into account that we want to go back to the hotel after lunch for naps and/or swimming.
