I'm just back from 5 days in Paris and will be doing a trip report when I get around to it but first wanted to post highs and lows!
It was myself and my Momma that went. We stayed in the Cheyenne which was great! We had gone in 2012 and swore we wouldn't go back because of the rudeness and other stuff but spotted a good deal in October and decided to try it again. So compared to last time:
Highs:
-One complaint I had last time was dirt on rides none of that and wait times were 5-10 minutes.
-Character mobs were 90% gone, people actually queued, most waited their turn and interactions were great!
-Another complaint I had last time was the toilets were filthy and stinking with wet floors when it wasn't raining and this time every toilet we went to was clean
-Pin trading last time was awkward. CM's would examine the pins as if there was something wrong. Some said they would only trade if I had nice pins or wanted to pick their own off my lanyard which wasn't the way I was used to trading with CM's in America. This time there was very little of that. Every CM traded what I asked for and most of them for whatever I wanted to give. There was only 3 that wanted to chose.
- Tried a few new restaurants this time and in particular Bistro Chez Remy was fabulous.
- When people tried to skip lines/break rules CM's actually tried to do something about it where last time they just ignored it.
- Tea-time treat vouchers we weren't expecting. We had half board standard and didn't know these went with that meal plan but those and the meal plan itself were a great help
Lows:
- More photopass photographers are needed at characters or around the park in general.
- Still a few around that don't think they have to queue.
- People breaking rules in the park. They announced several times no smoking in the park and no selfie sticks and still there was tonnes of people smoking and I saw a few with selfie sticks. The selfies sticks wouldn't bother me so much but the smoking did. I did see CM's going over to people telling them to stop though
- Taxi back to the airport arrived an hour earlier than booked and we weren't ready to go.
- Two of 4 suitcases getting broken
Overall it was great and I would definately go back this time of year again as the crowds were low. It was freezing though so I think i would invest in a snow suit or something so that I was warmer as it was I had 2 tops, 2 jumpers and a coat on and was still freezing but that's not the parks fault like

and vowed never to go on it again but I at least was glad to have tried it once. Next we went to all the shows. First Animagique, I loved this show and so sad it’s gone from the park now. Next was Cinemagique then Stitch Live. As we were coming out of Stitch live I spotted these and thought they looked cool enough for a picture. I guess eventually they’re going to grow into Mickey head trees:
After the Stunt show we were planning on going for a snack but Momma spotted the entrance to Armageddon: Les Effets Speciaux and asked a nearby CM what it was. She wanted to go in and see it so we did. It was ok but not something I’d be running back to see again. After surviving Armageddon we headed to restaurant En Coulisse to use our tea-time treat vouchers. We were supposed to only get doughnuts or ice-cream with these but this restaurant had a fruit option which made Momma very happy. She had that:
and I couldn’t get it off to fix it. When we got back to the hotel I went into the gift shop to show the CM she tried to get the head off but couldn’t and since they didn’t have any suggested I either go to World of Disney with him or back to the shop I got him in. We were headed back into the Disney Village that evening anyway so once we were rested up we took off a little earlier and popped into World of Disney and showed the vinyl to another CM there who got very huffy about it and said just to pull the head off and fix it, tried it himself and broke the head completely off so then pretty begrudgingly just handed me a new box which turned out to be one of the rarer ones:
