Back to back?

Does anyone have experience of doing back to back ABD trips that they can share?
The last 3 years we have combined a land trip in Europe (2 of them ABD, one Tauck Bridges) with a cruise, but for 2017 we are considering back to back ABD trips. We are currently leaning towards England/France and then Spain.

Yes, WAY too many options! The Italy/Switzerland trip is definitely close to the top of my list.
