:umbrella: Hey Hey Hey....got a question for anyone who has done the back to back cruising on the Disney Wonder. My mother in law and I are huge Disney fans and love DCL. We have cruised the 7 day Magic twice both itineraries and are looking for some different ports but still Eastern Caribbean.
Get my drift??? Anyway...we travel many miles (Seattle) to cruise with Disney and a 3 day or 4 day just isn't worth the traveling time and expense. So I was thinking 7 night cruise again just doing the Wonder with back to back itineraries. Question: what is the 3 & 4 day itinerary like on the Wonder? Is it fun? Is the Wonder as laid-back as the Magic? Do they still have Pirates of the Caribbean night on the Wonder? and so on and so on....
Any info would be greatly appreciated....thx... :sunny: pirate: :wave2:

We just got back from a four night, and this is what I know:

The 4 night itinerary: Nassau, Castaway Cay, day at sea, home

The 3 night itinerary: Nassau, Castaway Cay, home

Yes, there are pirate nights, I think on both. For the 4 night, it was the Castaway Cay night.

The boats are very similar, except on the Magic it's Lumiere's and on the Wonder it's Tritons.

From what I've read, dress code is the same, style is the same.

Hope that helps! :earsgirl:

The three and four night cruises stop at Nassau and at Castaway Cay. If you like shipboard life, these cruises are great. We didn't get off the ship in Nassau last December, but stayed on board and enjoyed the mainly empty ship.

We're doing back-to-back Wonder cruises in November. We had planned to do a four-night and then a three-night, making a whole week. However, this year for Thanksgiving they have changed the schedule so that there will be two four-night cruises in a row, and that's what we chose. We will be doing eight nights aboard Wonder! We may get off the ship on one stop in Nassau, but then again, if the weather's great, we may just stay on board and enjoy the pool and other facilities!

:wave2: ...Thanks for the input everyone. Was looking thru my DCL brochure/booklet and may just do the 7 night Eastern itinerary. The price is a factor and it be a bit pricey to do the back to back. With the money I save I could down some good Guava Smoothies in St. Martein and my mother-in-law and I could both get Cabana Massages on Castaway Cay not to mention facials on board ship. Again...I appreciate the input but looks (due to price) like it is the Eastern for us, but.....anyway you look at it....I am on a DCL ship and you can't go wrong there.
Happy Cruising one and all... pirate:

We did a three-peat on the Wonder (3/4/3). We loved it! To us, Nassau is a day at sea, so it was like a triple visit to Castaway Cay combined with all sea days.

Barb,

When you do this, do you have to get off the ship between cruises or can you stay on?

Thanks!

At the time we did it, we were allowed to stay on. However, that's a Customs thing so it could change. We spent most of the time on the aft verandah because they pump LOUD music into the staterooms! I suspect it's to hurry the hosts/hostesses along in the cleaning process. I still have flashbacks whenever I hear "Whip It" or "Video Killed the Radio Star."

We did back to backs on the Magic in October 04 and we were allowed to stay on as well. I think if you are not a US citizen, you may need to disembark. We did laundry and checked out the ship...we got "kicked out" of our stateroom while the hostess did a clean. But the CM's are working their tails off for sure during that turnaround! I would need all the "Whip It" blaring I could get to keep my rear moving as fast as they were! It was pretty cool!

consider trying the alternative western cruises with Costa Maya and two CC stops. Could be fun.... not sure of cost.
