I thought there was a 2 hour requirement between reservations, but the system just let me make a 5:55 PM and a 7:05 (only 1 hour, 10 minutes separation). Anyone have experience with this -- will it let me keep both for hose reservations? Or will the system at some point automatically kick one or the other?

I think the system is just super wonky right now. It let me book two within 15 minutes or each other last week, yet when I made another one within an hour of another it did force the cancellation before proceeding with the new booking.

My guess is if you have a confirmation email, the reservation (both of them) are yours and you'll need to cancel to avoid the fee.

(It also let me book multiple park reservations on the same day )
