We are scheduled for back to back cruises on the Magic in January.

Question: Do you just leave your stuff in your stateroom, get off the ship, and then re-board?

The next question has to do with port arrival times and do you get back on right away or do you have to sit in the port from like 9am to 1pm to get back onboard?

The minor question is retesting COVID wise prior to re-boarding? My guess is they would take us off and retest and then let us go back on.

Thanks

In our experience, we left everything in our cabin. We got off the ship and waited in the concierge area to re-embark. We were one of the first back on.

They will put a letter in your room the same night you deal with gratuities. It will tell you how it all happens, where to meet, etc.

It was really easy. I’m now looking forward to a B2B on the Wish!!!!

Did B2B on the dream in august. No letter in your cabin. You get a message on the navigator app. It tells you where to meet and when. You all exit the ship together and now go thru testing, go to the terminal to recheck in and all board together. We left all our stuff in our stateroom because we had the same one for both cruises.

We are doing another B2B on the dream in January with guarantee cabins. We will have to pack up between those cruises.

If you're staying in the same stateroom, you only take off the ship your necessary documents for re-checking in (passports, etc). Also not a bad idea to take something to pass the time.

In the past, your time off the ship would vary from 30 minutes to a couple of hours. Not sure how it plays out now with COVID requirements.

We are doing our first B2B in the new year. I love the idea of not having to pack up at the end of that first cruise, but I’m also worried about what that would mean if one of us were to test positive before re-boarding and we weren’t able to return to our room. I think I’ll probably pack up a decent amount of our stuff just in case a CM would have to retrieve it for us.
