We just returned from the 1/24/04 Magic Eastern and we loved it. We have decided to book a back to back Eastern and Western. My question is:

Do we have to leave the ship in Port Canaveral in between cruises? We plan on keeping the same cabin.

Thanks,

When I booked my back to back Wonder cruises recently I was told that we didn't have to leave the ship but we would have to leave our room for a bit. I think that could change at any time especially if something like the terror alert level would rise.

No, you do not have to leave the ship during a back-to-back cruise, (which you would have to do before 9.30am) but we found it nice to take a trip to Merritt Island Mall to re-stock on USA goodies, for a couple of hours. Also enjoyed mixing with the new guests at the Terminal, when re-embarking, - many of whom were first time cruisers, and therefore very excited.
If you choose to stay aboard, then there would be little for you to do, as it's mayhem on Saturdays for the staff! Just imagine the work involved cleaning, setting up, and re-stocking the ship ready for the next cruise. Doing another back to back in March:- so it must be fun eh?!! English Nat

Thanks for the prompt reply's.

I think it would be fun to just spend the time in a deck chair watching everyone.
