Back Stage Magic

We've done WDW every year for the past 8 years and I was thinking of "shaking things up a bit" with a trip to DisneyLand.

Do you think the Back Stage Magic is the way to go for a family of 4 (4 year old and 11 year old) or should we just plan on our own and "wing it" ??

I haven't heard to much about it...any insights would be helpful!
