Back problems and rides

I have been having some back and leg pain and just had an MRI. It showed a slight bulge in a disc, as well as a cyst (neither a really bad thing, just will cause pain). I was told to just stay off of rides that have a lot of jerking motion. I have no issues with walking, etc....just sciatic nerve pain really.

Which ones are those? I would assume Dinosaur and the Safari ride...which I was SO looking forward to getting to do Dinosaur for the first time. Any others? How about Rock N Roller Coaster....I have heard it is very smooth? Space Mountain?

Hello!!! I have some of the same problems with my back and have gone to disney twice. pm me and I will tell you what I did to enjoy as much as I could.

My husband rides rock and roller coaster without problems. He says it's smooth.
He avoids Tower of Terror because of his back (and I avoid it because of my motion sickness).

He also stays off Space Mountain, which I do ride, and it is kinda bumpy.

Test Track's also bumpy in one short section (similating a test drive over big bumps). And there's a hard stop as well. But my husband rides that without any problems.

Soarin is very smooth and should be fine.

Kali River Rapids should be ok. It's like being in a small boat in terms of a bit of bobbing around.

thunder mountains a little bit wild in terms of side to side pressure, so i don't know if that's a problem for you. My husband also stays off this one.

by the way, he waits in line with us for all of them, and then exits at the end.

That's all I can think of right now.

I have 2 bulging discs in my lower lumbar and the ride that bothered me most was - if you can believe this - Primeval Whirl at AK. It doesn't seem intense but it really made my back hurt!
