Back last week, Thanksgiving crowds

I returned last week from 18 days at the ASM, and POR. T pre thanksgiving week was great
there were no lines in the parks until mid day, and the kids were able to ride everything in Fantasyland in 2.5 hours one morning. The ASM was a good deal at the $49 AP rate,the rooms are small but OK. The food court was adequate, the pools were good. We didn't
hang around much because I knew we had to get our park time in the first week before the
holiday crowds!!! The second week at POR we spent more time at the hotel, Belz, Eating out
etc. We went to parks on Wed. and Friday, but it was out of control, the cutbacks at the
World meant there was noone controlling long lines, smaller rides had 1 person operatin them
so they had to check the belts then hit the buttons. The queues were filled with adults without children clogging up the fantasyland and other childrens attractions.
Overall we saw most everything,and spent much quality time with the kids!!!
Then I had a wonderful surpise when I got home...an employee at POR stole my AMEX
number and went on a shopping spree, while we were having fun in the park!!!! Amex was
great about dumping fraudulent charges, I would hope they do something about this !!!

By the way I am one of those "adults without children" who happens to be a kid at heart, and truely finds magic and enjoyment in Fantasyland. I didn't realize this was one of those restricted "childrens attraction" which I have been "clogging up" all these years.

I happen to think that WDW, all areas, are for children young and old.

Sorry to hear about your credit card problems at WDW. That must have been so frustrating. 18 days is a long trip!! I'll bet it was hard to leave after that long...
