Got back last night. It was wonderful! The weather was great and the crowds were managable. A big thanks to everyone - all the tips here on the board made our trip a super success! :wave2:

The trip started off on a sour note - received a call at 12:00 midnight to say our 6AM Air Canada flight was cancelled :sad2: out of Halifax and the next available flight to Toronto wasn't till five the next day arrving at midnight in Orlando. We were not impressed as we were meeting up with my brother and his family in Toronto to catch our connecting flight to Orlando. Did some serious surfing and found a flight out of Moncton at 1:30AM - three hour drive away at 6AM. Called a friend and drove three hours and caught the flight - I was not to be detered. Arrived in Toronto a little tired but happy to be there.

Monday Day 1 Arrived in Orlando at 1:30PM and it was sunny and all was wonderful. :flower: We were picked up FL Tours (wonderful driver Tony) with a great grocery stop at the Publix. Arrived at the Carribean Beach Resort and check in was about 20 minutes - not too bad. Had a room request for Jamicia or Aruba - Surprise - #31 Trinidad North :cheer2: - wonderful location right next to Old Port Royale.

Changed into our bathing suites and hit the pool. Booked supper at Shutters - had a wonderful supper, the food was really good and headed to MK. The children were so excited (not that I wasn't :goodvibes ). The castle looks beautiful! We strolled around, went to Space Mountain, Tommorowland Transit Authority, Carousel of Progress and then off to see Spectro Magic and then Wishes - it was incredible.

Tuesday Day 2 - early morning went to Typhoon Lagoon - weather was wonderful - the slides were great and the wave pool was a blast! When we got back to the hotel we had some wonderful towel animals waiting for us - the kids were thrilled! - a note from Mom didn't hurt

Wednesday Day 3 Chef Mickey's - kids loved it and the food was really good - headed to MK, road Dumbo, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, PhiharMagic (the best 3d!), Carrosel, Snow White, Splash Mountain, ate lunch at Pecos Bills and then did Pirates of the Carribean and headed back to the hotel for a swim and then back for Crytstal Palace - wonderful meal - the desserts were scrumptious. Watch Cinderalla being crowned. Then headed back out to Winnie the Pooh, tea cups, Peter Pan and then the fireworks - EMH - went to tomorrowland, road Stitch twice, Buzz lightyear twice and space mountain three runs. before we headed back.

Thursday, Day 4 headed to Epcot for the day - really enjoyed Misson Space, Universe of Energy (twice), Honey I Shrunk the Audience and then off to World Showcase, toured the countries, ate lunch in Morocco really good food,(then a rain shower) and then continued our tour to Mexico and returned to Biergarton for supper - food was really good. Toured some more and headed back to Future World and continued our walk about, watched Illuminations - which was fantastic.

Friday, Day 5 headed to Animal Kingdom - the best - road Kali River Rapids twice - got soaked! then off on Safari - the animals were incredible, grabbed a bite at Tuskers and then did the Pangani Forest Exploration Trail (the gorillas were realy performing) then the Habitat Habit. Had lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue - the ribs were excellent. My 5yr DD ate my DH share :rotfl:
Then it was off to Dinoland. The kids really liked The Boneyard. Had fun on the Ticera Top Spin and then the Primeval Whirl (bounced around - not my favorite), then off to Dinosaur - it was great. We then headed to Discovery Island and caught It's Tough to be a Bug which is wonderful, then through the Discovery Island Trails. A quick walk to Camp Mickey and enjoyed Pocahontas and was wowed by the Lion King - not to be missed!. Headed back to the hotel then off to Ohana's. The food was great! Really enjoyed the steak. The kids loved the hoola hoop games. Then back to MK for a few more rides - tea cups, Aladin and Splash Mountain again.

Saturday Day 6 - headed to Blizzard Beach. The kids really enjoyed it. The wave pool was wonderful, we just laid back and floated. The kids enjoyed the slides and the kids area jumping from ice float to ice float. Headed back to the hotel and enjoyed another good meal at Shutters then off to Downtown Disney for a quick tour and some shopping.

Sunday, Day 7, we had an early morning for Princess Story book Character Breakfast. The food was good and the princesses were wonderful. Our DDs were thrilled. We hurried off to the boat to MGM and walked about a little and then watched Ariel, then Beauty, then off to the Tower of Terror - which we road three times - it was great! Star Tours was a major hit as well. we then took an afternoon break for a swim and had supper at the food court. Headed back for the night and caught playhouse on stage, Who Wants to be a millionaire and then Muppet Vision 3-D and then got seats for Fantasmic - it was incredible - true Disney magic! just don't sit too close to the front our you will bet wet. Then it was off to the Tower of Terror and the Rockin Roller Coaster.

Monday - Day 8 - A day of partial rest, got up, went to Disney Quest, had a blast making our own roller coasters made it to level 5, road, the rapids, flew on a magic carptet (although, I think I hit more walls than anything else) :rotfl: couldn't quick get the hang of it. Then we fought with the pirates. Headed back to the hotel for a relaxing afternoon at the pool and an early supper at Shutters. The last night can ony be done in MK. Did the Jungle Cruise and my 5yr Dd was behind the wheel - she was so impressed, then a trip through the Haunted Mansion, then the tea cups three times, then off to Phiharmagic again, then a quick trip to Buzzlight year and ended the night with the fire works.

We were on the meal plan and it was a true savings for us. We ate like Kings. We also bought two of the mugs and b/c we were so close to the food court they really paid for themselves. We had some really great CMs along the way too. The buses were great we didn't wait more than 10-15 minutes and the late night bus drivers were a hoot for the most part telling jokes and stories - they really ended the evenings on a positive note. The resort had a lot of ducks and other birds, and a bunny rabbit which we watched every morning.

It was an incredible week but not quite long enough - I'm not ready to be home :sad1: If anyone has any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.

What a lovely report, I'm so glad you had such a fantastic time! :grouphug:

Wow! We were there the same time as you and were in the same parks at roughly the same times! Wonder if we ran into each other unknowingly! We had PS at Crystal Palace same night as you -- around 6 p.m.! Glad you had a great time! We found the crowds to be quite manageable too!

Thanks for the great trip report!
