...After a relaxing holiday in Portugal.

We left on Saturday and flew from Exeter Airport (Our friends who we went with live in Devon and it was easier to fly from Exeter) to Faro. The flight was delayed by about 45 minutes, and there wasn't a lot to do at the very small airport.

When we arrived we walked off of the plane in to the glourious boiling hot sunshine Then it was the fairly quick process of picking up our car and collecting the villa keys from the rep. It only took about 20 minutes to drive to the villa which was in Quinta do Lago. We arrived there and settled in and about 1 hour later there were people knocking on our door saying this was the villa that they were allocated (and they even had keys)we kept trying a telephone number to try and get hold of a rep and nobody was answering. Finally somebody turned up and the other people had been given the wrong villa and had to be moved to another one.

We then finally settled in and relaxed. The villa was really nice (especially for the price we paid!!) and it had a big private swimming pool and backed on to a nice golf course. It had 4 bedrooms and air-conditioning which we really appreciated!!

We didn't really do anything special except visited a water park and a couple of shopping malls and a sea-world type of place. We mainly just relaxed around the pool and slept!!. Whilst the ladies went shopping us men played some golf - The courses are excellent over there!!

It's just a shame the holiday is over and we now have to go back to work and school.........

The week flew by and felt like only a couple of days!!
We were a little nervous throughout the week incase somebody else thought it was their villa. We have just heard that the other family that accidentaly got sent to our villa had many problems: the next villa they were sent to was also occupied, so they got sent to another which was also occupied. Eventually they got settled in a vacant villa but they were not too happy with the mistakes.
