Hi all, back from yet another brilliant trip. This holiday was much different for us - first time with a toddler so DH was off with DS on rides and DD and I hung around a lot taking it all in.

Highs:

Refurbished room at Santa Fe, with bunks.
Weather - dry but breezy.
DD loved Small World
DS is a real coaster addict he is 6 and did ToT, RC racer, R&R coaster amongst other milder rides!
Dreams, we saw it 3 times
Very smooth journey - we drove over 900 miles!
Cheap diesel :-))
Having a little girl to finally buy princess things for!
Characters - all brilliant especially Duffy and Eeyore in Cafe Mickey
Rainforest Cafe - big portions, fast service, though was expecting more from the atmosphere.

Lows:

One rude CM
French road potholes!
Filming around the park - Friday was more inconvenient the castle was closed off so to get to fantasyland was a bit of a hassle.
The queues on Saturday, to be expected but 95mins for crush and 80mins for buzz
EMH - not many rides open at all! Same goes for counter service restaurants.

Not sure when we'll return, probably 2014/15 when DD is older. Also we'd like to do a DCL next year.

I am so happy you stayed dry but wow the crowds and waits sound insane. Hope you didn't hit the potholes in the road and are planning for a Disney cruise.

Welcome back, glad you had a great time overall. I think it was the press weekend so that's why it would have been even busier than usual.

Enjoy planning for your DCL although I'll warn you that's just as addictive! :rotfl2:

Welcome back, sounds a great trip. Sometimes it is nice just to take it easy and soak up the atmosphere rather than queuing for or rushing between rides - make the most of it before your DD gets the coaster bug too! :)

Just don't tell dh that lol!

Sounds like a good trip! I'm impressed with your DS doing ToT and R&R coaster at 6!

And yes it was quite a crowded weekend... 80 mins for Buzz in EMH seems quite extreme!
