We're just back from our trip to FLA, which included 3 nights at WDW and the Wilderness Lodge. The Wilderness Lodge was as beautiful as ever, and I am happy to report that our standard room was upgraded to a Woods View.
We were in 3028 and we could see Cinderella's Castle, Main St. Train Station and the Contemporary (with some trees in the way). The best part was that we could watch the fireworks from our balcony!
We also enjoyed watching a couple of otters fishing in the little pond that was just below us (I'd never seen otters in WDW before).
We went with my in-laws (their first trip to WDW) and they loved the resort as well. They didn't realize their view was an upgraded one, until I explained that "no, not every room in Disney World has a view of the Castle!".
