Hi,
Just got back from 3 weeks at disneyworld but also spent two nights at universal on the 27th and 28th September.
Overall I had a fantastic time, Spiderman and the Mummy are probably still my favourite rides in Orlando.
This was the first time I'd stayed on site and have to say with express pass included in the room it's definetely the way to go. The parks were dead on the Thursday so it wasn't needed that much but by the Saturday it was a godsend for bypassing 40 minute waits on the Hulk and Spiderman.
I really liked the HRH and loved being able to walk to the parks. We stayed club and would defintely do it again.
We attended HHN on the opening night and I absolutely loved it. I was disappointed with lack of scarezones but the houses were fantastic. I was glad we had express passes as the waits topped 60 minutes after around 8pm. The bill and ted show was really funny, and we'll definetely be attending this event again.
The only criticism I have is the staff seemed really disorganised when putting people onto rides, there was no one assigning people to rows, meaning when queues were 30 mins plus they were running cars with loads of empty seats? I didn't really understand this as they had staff standing there but they just let people organise themselves.
Overall though I really enjoyed my stay, but we'll do universal at the end of the holiday next time as FOTL really spoilt me and it was hard to go back to Disney and queue!
