...and would be happy to answer any dining questions. We had lunch at the YC Galley, Flame Tree BBQ, and Pecos Bill. We had dinner at Tony's (before MNSSHP), Rose & Crown, and ESPN Club. :) YC Galley is the BEST! ;)

What did you get at Flametree? Was it good? We are going in Dec. and I am hoping it will be open then.

I would love to hear all about the Yacht Club Galley since we'll be at the Beach Club next year.

Between the three of us, at Flame Tree we had a Pork Shoulder sandwich, cheese fries, onion rings, and cole slaw. The food is good, but was $25 for that. A little expensive for what we got, but, the food isn't too bad. ;) BTW, the corn with the sandwich was tasteless, and the beans were basicly all liquid.

At the YC Galley we had a chicken sandwich, the Yacht Club sandwich, and the "open face mushroom ravioli". Everything was great. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the YC sandwich was very tasty, and the ravioli was good. They really can't call it ravioli (well, open faced sorta explains it, but it is nothing at all like a ravioli). It was a sheet of pasta with some different types of mushrooms, then a white wine/cream sauce and some onion straws on top. Very good. Not sure if there was any cheese on it or not. :)

CaliforniaDreaming, how did you like Tony's? We will be eating there before MNSSHP on Thursday, and would love to hear more about the dinner there. Thanks!

The food was okay, and it came out really fast. They had a menu change since the last time I was there, and I was disappointed to see my favorites gone (especially the fried mozerella - they had a goat cheese crusted with polenta thing instead, little balls [3] but the cheese was so rich I could hardly eat a whole one).

We got our wristbands when we entered the MK (around 4PM), and stayed in the park until 10-10:30 when we left. :)

How was Rose & Crown, and what did you eat there? DH and I will be dining there for the first time next month - we have a PS, and it's the only one I'm iffy on.

Thanks in advance!

This was our second time there, and we had dinner on the patio. My mom and sister both had the fish and chips (my sister got a baked potato instead), and I had the meat pies sampler and the fruit and cheese plate. Everything was very good!

Yum! I love mushrooms, so the open-faced ravioli sounds wonderful! I'll have to try it when we go. May I ask you one more question? What is the Yacht Club sandwich? I'm intrigued.

Thanks! I guess we'll keep our PS at Rose and Crown. We're hoping for a patio table.

Glad to hear you liked the YC Galley -- this was one of our favorites for dinner -- hopefully they will reopen for dinner.

The YC Sandwich is like a club. It is turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and roasted garlic mayonnaise. I think it was a sundried tomato facoccia (sp?) bread. :)

Cali - What time was your PS at Rose & Crown? Were you able to watch Illuminations? We love this place, but have only been there for lunch. We wondered if people got early PS's for dinner and then held the tables to watch Illuminations. That would make it hard to get a table there.

I love the YC Galley, too! Is it open for dinner yet?

How was ESPN? Was it a long wait (or do they have PS)? We're thinking of using one of our Kingdom Lunch vouchers there if we can get a good deal.

Well, it was raining when we went to ESPN, so we waited about a half hour (most people were there for Sunday night football, so it took awhile to turn over tables). They don't take PS's. The food was good, we eat there almost every trip and the food is pretty consistant. :)

What did you have at Tony's for dinner??? when did the menu change, is there an updated menu I can see anywhere???
We are having dinner there for before MVMCP, cause we are already having dinner at the castle before one christmas party, but we are going to two, and want to eat in MK before it.
I dont like LTT, and the Plaza I just like for lunch.
was it really bad? or was it just that the food came out to quickly??

thanks! :)

Laura :)

Hi Laura! :)

At Tony's, we had the goat cheese appetizer (goat cheese balls crusted with polenta, served with sauce and some greens), two salads, a kids spagetti and meatball, a kids pepperoni pizza, cheesecake, and tiramisu. The food wasn't "bad" - it's just that I missed the old menu items (especially the fried mozzerella). Our waiter was from the Crystal Palace so he knew nothing about the menu. The food came out really fast, almost right after we ordered it. It was okay, but we were out of there within a half hour, and still a half hour before park closing (1.5 hours before MNSSHP). We stayed in the park since we got our wrist bands when entering the park (one side of the turnstyles were for MK guests, the other side was for MNSSHP guests).
