Hi everybody

I am back from the world, still feeling pretty depressed about it :sad2: but nice to see you all again. We had a fantastic time, best weather ever for September and more than ever didn't want to come home. I will be starting a trip report when we finally finish the endless washing/visiting and some insignificant thing called going back to work but in the meantime, highs and lows are:

Highs

Getting upgraded to concierge at the HRH (but not what we had to endure that made us get the upgrade, more on that in the trip report)
Kennedy Space Center
Finally being brave enough to ride Space Mountain!
Meeting up with deedee, queenie and jjpenguin
MNSSHP
The view from our room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
Keys to the Kingdom tour
And too many more to mention

Lows

Lovebugs - arrrrgh
Busch Gardens, sorry to fans of this, it just wasn't my thing
Very salty fries!

Any questions, please ask away.

Hi Matt

How strange, I had only just said to Andy that I would have to pm you to find out if you knew when Torchwood was starting! Haven't seen the adverts yet, will look out for them, please let me know when you find out :thumbsup2

Welcome home!! What did you think of AKL?

Hi there

We loved the AKL. The view from our balcony was incredible - we saw giraffes, cranes, bongos, spoonbills and many others - though strangely not zebras as we were on the zebra trail! We did see them elsewhere in the grounds though, and in the evening they have staff with night vision goggles so you can get a great look at the savanna. We were a bit disappointed with the mousekeeping at first as they kept forgetting to leave coffee and toiletries, but Andy called them up and they sorted it out. The food court was nice but always busy. The pool was nice, and the jacuzzi/spas were heavenly. Any specific questions, please ask.

And to everyone who said it had gone quickly - yes, I agree, far too quickly!
