We just came back last night from 8 days of fun in WDW. The weather was mild we thought. It was in the mid 80's and the humidity was not unbearable.
It rained a bit each day but nothing to damper the vacation.

Finally got my picture with Chicken Little. Missed Abby Mallard. Oh well, a character to look forward to next year. Noticed a lot of the "regular" characters out and no one out of the ordinary. I was hoping for Clarice or Clarabelle Cow, but no sign.

This trip we used different forms of transportation beside the bus. We took boat from MK to the Poly, boat in the World Showcase in Epcot, and horse trolley down Main Street.

Now as much as I love my family, I am enjoying being at work today. If anything just sitting down for a while. I think being together for 8 days had done all of us in at the end. I think next year we will go for a couple days less.

All in all it was a great trip with lots of memories that I'll treasure. :goodvibes

Any questions, let me know. :)

Hello, glad you had a good time! How old are your children (just wondering if they are little ones or big kids). I am going with my teens, and I am a little worried, since they are older that we will get on each others nerves.

Did you have the dining plan? My husband and I may have dinner at Ohana's (but we won't be on the dining plan). We may do this as a "date night" without the kids so we can all have a break from each other. Did you go to Ohanas?
thanks for sharing!

My DS's are 9 & 7. Too young to be sent off by themselves. With teenagers you can at least set up a meeting place. I told my DH in a few years we can do that. Their problem was that even though they brought their own spending money, they wanted more. They have already decided to save even more money for next year. We shall see if that happens.

We were on the dining plan and enjoyed eating at different places. My DH started tally the receipts. The dining plan was over $600 and so far of him going thru the receipts we have eaten over $1,000 worth of food. We did do 2 dinner shows so right there is $300.

We ate at Ohana's for breakfast and liked it. Didn't do dinner but have heard great reviews.

Have a wonderful time when you go. :)

Sounds like a fun trip. That's too bad about not too many out of the ordinary characters being out. I'm surpsrised to hear that Clarice wasn't out. She seemed to be been pretty common lately. Still, more characters for you to look forward to next year.
