We can't wait!! The kids are going to love that slide.

I'm sure they will - DS8 loved it. They do close the slide at different times - when we were there it was 7 during the week and I believe 9 on the weekends so I'd double check the times when you get there. A couple of times we got there and they had closed the slide - DS8 had fun anyway. If you have younger kids they have a kids area w/fountains shooting water. My DD2 & DD5 loved that as well as the zero entry pool.

For anyone who likes tropical drinks (alcoholic) the Pina Colava at the pool bar is great! I'm not much of a drinker but I did want some tropical drinks and these were not very strong at all. I had 2 the night before we left. They're served in plastic cups so you can take them by the pool and on the beach.

At Kona Cafe I tried the Island Sunset - delicious!

Thank you. I have more of different areas of the resort - the marina w/the boats, Tuvalu etc. My DD2 and I went for a walk one morning - I'll see if I can post those later.

Your welcome! The Poly has become our favorite as well. It costs alot more but its worth every penny and I'd rathar wait to go again until we save up enough money then to stay somewhere else. We wanted to visit WL, AKL and BC but just ran out of time. GF looks great as well but it seemed on the transportation w/Poly they were picked up last. The Poly really made the magic for us - it is so Disney!

Although I shouldn't, am so hoping we get Tokelau on our Dec visit - many years ago stayed in room 3927 and loved it - although that was before Tahiti was built! We had 3 stays in Tokelau and one in Rapa Nui, oh and one in Aotearoa, which we did not like nearly as much - all had different names then.

Anyway, thanks again....these nice TR's help me look forward to the Polynesian again even more ~ if that's possible!

Heres a mix of pics - I had 2 cameras going so there may be duplicates.

One morning DD2 & I went on a walk around the resort. I believe this walkway is going by the outside tables at capt cooks.

I believe this is the Fiji longhouse - I didn't think Fiji had balconies on the 2nd floor but this longhouse is directly behind the marina so my map shows Fiji. Tonga is at the top of the marina (not shown).

As you can tell these pics aren't of the Poly. Don't worry there are no hippos, gorillas or giraffe running around the Poly. My kids wanted me to post these as well. They are their favorites from Ak.

I'm so glad you had a great time! I was awestruck by the Poly on our last trip. We only visited there to take my DD to the Neverland Club, but we decided that the Poly is going to be high up on our list of places to stay when we bring the kids. It's absolutely breathtaking!

But...

I need to whine now. I can't see your pictures! I'm so disappointed! Especially when alot of other posters have said how great they are! I feel so left out! LOL They just are a bunch of little red x's.

Am I the only one who can't see the pics?

They did have 2 sweatshirts with the Poly Logo. A Navy Blue Zip up hooded and a grey zip hooded. The blue one had capri sweats and t-shirts to match. These were at Boutiki on the first floor.
