Back from the most magical vacation!

We got back from our trip this past Saturday, but have been busy since we got home.

We had the best time during our trip last week. The weather was warm, only rained on us one day, last Tuesday, when we were at Sea World.

The crowds were awesome, we were able to do everything we wanted, most waits said they were 5 minutes, but we ended up pretty much just walking right on almost everything.

We got to see lots of characters and I got to see a few we hadn't met yet.

The best character interaction I had was with Belle, The Beast, and Princess Aurora. My boyfriend proposed to me with them watching! He asked the character handler if he could have Aurora come over for a picture because he was going to propose to me. They originally told him no, they don't allow the princesses to pose together like that. Then she came back and said to him that because this was a special occassion, she was going to let it happen, and let both princesses know what was going on. We went to pose for the picture, and he got down and asked me to marry him. It truly was the most magical moment ever for me! Later, we posed with Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie, and they found out we had just gotten engaged and they were so excited for us. It was so wonderful.

I just wish I had gotten the name of the cast member who helped my fiance with the princesses posing together. She was so wonderful, as well as Belle, the Beast, Aurora, Jasmine, Aladdin and the Genie. I want them to know how much I appreciate their excitement for me and their part in making my day so wonderful!

Thanks so much for all your congratulations!

Melissa--It was on Thursday afternoon at Epcot that we got engaged. About 3:30 in the afternoon or so.

matt&jakesmom--I'm almost certain we will be honeymooning at WDW. My boyfriend's mom has a timehare in Orlando and next year she has 2 weeks, she said she would transfer one of the weeks to anytime we wanted. So, depending on when we get married, we were thinking about going in December--so if we get married earlier in the year, we'll delay our honeymoon until December. My fiance knows I really want to see WDW done up at Christmas time!

I already bought myself the bride mouseears. My fiance said he didn't want the groom ears, but now that we are home he said he should have gotten them, so we may have to make a call and get some for him!

What a honeymoon: WDW in December!!! That would be soooo fantastic!!!

I have to ask, though: Did Aurora have a clue what was really going on? She looks like she missed the whole thing!!!! Belle is reacting in the pictures, but Aurora is still posing. It just made me laugh when I saw that!!!!

Liz--Aurora did know what was going on...after I saw the pictures I asked my fiance (still trying to get used to that word!) if the character handler told her what was going on and he said yes, she was standing right there listening when he was asking the character handler if he could have her over there when he proposed to me! We laugh at that picture and her standing there, we say she was just daydreaming about her own prince! I love how Belle is reacting in the pictures though!
