DH & I had a good time. The weather, on the other hand, wasn't that great. When we arrived the Friday before it was 50 degrees and WINDY! It was only about 60 when boarded on Saturday. They told us temperatures for the most part were below normal, so if you are cruising soon, you might want to have a light jacket on hand.
We stayed at the Hyatt and used Disney Bus Transportation to Port. I am all about convenience and this was the best. When talking with other cruisers that stayed at the Hyatt even if you didn't use Disney transportation, you could still have your luggage picked up from your room and delivered to the ship.
Seas were very rough the first few days. We had 8 - 13 foot waves for a good part of the first few days. If you tend to get motion sickness, I recommend having either Dramamine or Bonine and Sea bands as well. I get motion sickness at the drop of a hat and I had to use both. I missed dinner the first night due to sea sickness. It was very windy for most of the cruise. There were children literally being blown down the deck. If you ate at Pluto's, you had to hold on to your food or it was blown away. I was too slow one day and my French Fries were blown right off of my plate.
We did the Bridge Tour, it took about 20 minutes. It was interesting to see the bridge. They only do it on port days and it didn't appear that too many people took the tour. There were plenty of times available. You may or may not be able to take pictures. I happily snapped away, while our tablemates, were not allowed to take photos on their tour.
We also did the Galley Tour. That was offered on Thursday. Again, it lasted about 20 minutes. If you have nothing to do at the time, it's not too bad of a tour. The galley isn't as big as you would think it should be.
We didn't do any excursions, except for the Royal Swim with the Dolphins in Cozumel. This made my entire trip. It was absolutely the best experience I could have hoped for. I booked this outside of Disney, but it is with the same company that does the encounters. Their website is www.dolphindiscovery.com. It cost $120 per adult. You were kissed by the dolphins, pulled by the dolphins, and pushed by the dolphins. You also get "play" time with them, when they just swim around you. I believe childeren had to be 8 years old to do this swim. If you ever wanted to get up close and personal with a dolphin, this is the thing for you.
We had brunch at Palo. It was simply awesome! I can't think of another way to describe it.
As for movies, they were running Miracle, Calendar Girls, Brother Bear, Pirates, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Hildago, and there some others, but I can't remember them right now.
I can't think of anything else right now. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them.
