Back from Spain - Drove over 1300 miles in 22 hours

We got back from Spain (outside Alicante) this morning and was very impressed with our drive back to London. Left our Spanish home at 4.45 a.m on Sunday morning was at Calais at 9.30 p.m. on Sunday night and in bed at our home in London by 1.30 a.m. Monday morning.

Had wall to wall sunshine our whole trip and can't wait to go back seven weeks on Friday, although unfortunately will have to fly as half term in only a week and we don't think it is worth driving unless going for two weeks or more.

Welcome home - we have just got back from Ibiza at lunch time! Our friends always drive to Ibiza from Cardiff, but it takes them 2 days.....think i would rather just get on a plane. We only had one cloudy day in 6 weeks...heaven!
