Back from RPR

We spent 3 nights at RPR last week. It was fabulous!!! Check-in was quick and painless. I thought it stange that the never asked for my Fan Club card, oh well. We were in room 1125 in Tower 1. Our room overlooked the Incredible Hulk Coaster, Dr. Doom's Freefall in IOA , as well as the river. The room and resort were beautiful and so relaxing. We were close enough to IOA to walk. The landscaping along the walk was lush and green. The walk was no more than 10 minutes. We did ride the boat twice and enjoyed this too. We ate at Margaritaville (fun) and offsite. We enjoyed the pool thoroughly. It had a tropical theme which is my favorite. My kids really liked the pool and water play area. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a nicer stay! We will return. Thanks for the report. We are staying there in June. We haven't been to US/IOA since 2000, so we are very excited!

Thanks for the information. I was at Portofino Bay last week and loved it. I will try Royal Pacific in July. Based upon the reviews I've read, I know I'll have a great time.

Hi... Margaritaville is really good isn't it? I love the music and the atmosphere - and the food is good too.

And how did you enjoy "Front of the Line" access?

I could have gone to Margaritaville every night. The kids loved the balloon animals and stilt walkers. I loved listening to the guy play guitar on the deck and that delicious "frozen concoction that helps me hang on..."

After doing the front of the line access, I could never stay off-site at Universal again! When you have 3 kids that aren't tall enough to ride everything, FOL access makes it easy for everyone to get to ride what they want.

I'm thinking about hitting my husband up for another trip soon!!!

Unfortunately, school starts back here for teachers August 1st. I have been on maternity leave for a year and a half so I really can't complain too much. I may shoot for October break.
